Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. What iOS version is supported?
A. ScaleKeep supports iOS 17.0 or later.
Q2. What can I do with the free version?
A. The free version allows you to register up to 3 pets. All main features including feeding records, weight/length tracking, shedding records, calendar view, and album are available for free. Upgrading to Pro gives you unlimited pet registration and removes ads.
Q3. Can I back up my data?
A. Yes. Go to “Settings” → “Export Data” in the app to export your data in CSV or PDF format. You can save the exported files via email or cloud storage.
Q4. I’m not receiving notifications
A. Please check the following:
- In iPhone Settings → Notifications → ScaleKeep, make sure notifications are allowed
- In the app’s Settings, make sure “Feeding Reminders” is turned on
- In each pet’s detail screen, make sure a reminder time is set
- Make sure Focus Mode or Do Not Disturb is not blocking notifications
Q5. Are my posts public?
A. Posts marked as “public” are visible to all ScaleKeep users. You can set each post to private before or after posting. Your display name and avatar are visible when you participate in the community. Your Apple ID and real name are never shared.
A. Delete individual posts from the post detail screen or by long-pressing a post. To delete your entire community profile and all associated data (posts, comments, likes, follows), go to Settings → Community Profile → Delete Profile. Note: deleting the App alone does not remove your community data from our servers.
Q7. I want to register a species that’s not in the presets
A. You can register new species from the “Custom” section in the species selection screen. You can set the species name, category (Snake/Lizard/Turtle/Other), and feeding interval.
