By downloading, installing, or using ScaleKeep (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
ScaleKeep is a mobile application designed to help reptile owners manage and track the care of their pets. The App provides features including:
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter into the App. We recommend regularly backing up your data using the export feature.
To participate in the community feed, you will be prompted to create a community profile with a display name and optional avatar. Your display name and avatar are visible to all users of the App.
Your profile is linked to your iCloud account for authentication. Your Apple ID and real name are never shared with other users.
You may update or delete your community profile at any time from the App’s Settings screen.
While we strive to provide a reliable service, we are not responsible for any data loss that may occur due to device failure, app updates, or other circumstances. Please maintain regular backups of important data.
The App offers a premium subscription (“ScaleKeep Pro”) that provides additional features. Subscription details:

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them.
The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by ScaleKeep and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all data and content you create within the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the App’s services.
You retain ownership of all content you create and post within the App. By posting to the community feed, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content within the App solely for operating the community feed. This license terminates when you delete the content or your profile.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you post.
The App is designed as a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns about your pets.
While we strive to provide accurate species information and care guidelines, this information is for general reference only. Care requirements may vary based on individual animals, local conditions, and other factors.
We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for content posted by users in the community feed. Content represents the views of individual users only. We are not liable for any user-posted content that you may find offensive, inaccurate, or objectionable.
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScaleKeep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScaleKeep and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
